Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown

I booked this hotel for a company event. The staff was excellent to work with from the get go. Super friendly, quick to respond with answers to questions, and always there when needed. When people arrived at the hotel, the check-in process was quick and easy. Everyone was praising the comfort of the rooms. We had our group breakfast and lunches in the hotel restaurant and the food was so great! Hotel food is usually mediocre at best and we were pleasantly surprised at how tasty everything was. We also had a three day meeting at the hotel and the staff was on point with having the conference room ready every day and were prompt with providing coffee and snacks during break time. Later in the week we had a major ice storm and our company was very worried about cancelled flights and staying extra nights at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating with being flexible with those who needed to stay due to inclement weather. All in all, I find very little to complain about this downtown Austin gem.

Extremely helpful and friendly service! Nathan in valet went above and beyond when I called to verify if our sprinter van could fit in their garage. Without hesitation he took my number and returned my call with all the necessary details and info. He made it an easy decision for me to book hotel rooms for myself and our team. Thank you also to the front desk for their great customer service.

There’s zero rush, zero chaos—just smooth, friendly efficiency wrapped in genuine Austin hospitality. And when it was time to leave? My car came back so quickly I briefly wondered if it had been waiting just around the corner the entire time. Perfectly positioned, ready to go, and delivered with the same upbeat energy they greeted me with earlier. Honestly, five stars doesn’t quite capture it. This was a standing-ovation, “tell everyone you know,” hospitality masterclass. Alex and Aki don’t just park cars. They turn arrivals into events and departures into encores. ⭐

I enjoy staying here when I come into town for work. The rooms are spacious, views are nice, and amenities are great too. The hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming. So is the valet staff, Stephen, Art, and Bella did an amazing job on my latest trip. They were very attentive, handled the car with care, and provided quick service. My only issue was the last and this time I stayed here there were a lot of long straggler hairs in the bathroom on the sink and floor areas. Cleaning staff should be more attentive to that when cleaning. There is also construction in the area and it’s right off I-35 so traffic can be a little busy.
